Every trade runs on skilled people noticing things: the part that's wearing, the unit past its prime, the job the customer almost asked about. The industry built software to schedule that skill and invoice it. Nobody built the layer that captures what it sees.
Mentat is that layer. A tech talks for a minute, and what they noticed becomes a priced estimate, a permanent property record, and credit next to their name. Simple loop, compounding value.
Where AI belongs
We believe AI should support skilled people, not replace them. Mentat never sends a quote, never talks to your customer, and never decides what's worth doing. It drafts, structures, and remembers, so the judgment stays where it belongs: with your techs and with you.
